Cristina Rodriguez
Varsity Head Coach
Named Orange County girls lacrosse 2019, 2021, and 2022 CIF-SS Division 1 Coach of the Year, Coach CJ is starting her 6th year as Program Director and Varsity Head Coach for the Foothill Girls Lacrosse Program and her 7th season in total with FHS. In her first season as an assistant, she helped lead the Knights to a 14-6 record and make the playoffs. In 2019, her first year as varsity head coach, the Knights ended their season with a 17-2 record, ranked 18th in the Nation for girls lacrosse. The 2021 team, lead by Coach CJ, won the first ever CIF-SS Division 1 Championship with a repeat Championship in 2022 and 2023. Coach CJ is Director of Events for Frenzy Lacrosse Club in Orange County. Previous coaching experience includes implementing the girls lacrosse program at Johnson & Wales University (NAIA) in Denver, CO from 2007-2011. Following her 4 years of playing at Regis University (NCAA - D II) in Denver CO, she was the team Graduate Assistant at Regis. She was also a head coach at Denver Summit Lacrosse Club. Coach CJ is originally from Baltimore, Maryland.

Natalie Novick
Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Natalie is a Foothill graduate, returning to her Alma Mater for her third coaching season with The Knights. Natalie played lacrosse for Foothill as their center midfielder and went on to play for the Brown University Women's Lacrosse team. At Brown, Natalie competed as a defender for their Division 1 program and concentrated in Entrepreneurship and Organizational Studies. Natalie has three young children, Hazel, Isabelle and Bennett, with her husband, Tim, a Princeton lacrosse alum.
Vanessa Topetee
Varsity Assistant Coach
Coach Vanessa is starting her 1st year as Assistant Varsity Coach for Foothill Girls Lacrosse. The year after graduation from Foothill, she was a volunteer assistant coach for junior varsity. That year she helped lead the team to an undefeated season. The next season was her first year as JV head coach, also with an undefeated season that was cut short due to COVID-19. Coach Vanessa plays NCAA Division III at Chapman University and is attending Chapman University, majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology. Vanessa also has coaching experience with the OC Crush Lacrosse Club and SoCal Express Girls Lacrosse Club. She is from Tustin, CA and a Foothill Girls Lacrosse Alum.
Olivia NG
JV Coach
This is Coach Olivia’s second year coaching the Foothill Knight’s JV team. Originally from San Ramon, California, Olivia played lacrosse and ran cross country at California High. Now, a senior captain at Chapman University, Olivia is looking to close out her 8 years of playing lacrosse by leading the Panthers through a successful season this spring. With 3 years of coaching under her belt, Olivia looks to simultaneously lead the JV Knights to yet another successful season.
Sophie Pelton
JV Coach
This is Coach Sophie’s first year coaching the Foothill Knight’s JV team. Originally from Redwood City, California, Sophie played field hockey and lacrosse at St. Ignatius. Now, a senior at Chapman University, Sophie is looking to close out her 10 years of playing lacrosse by leading the Panthers through a successful season this spring. With 2 years of coaching under her belt, Sophie looks to simultaneously lead the JV Knights to yet another successful season.
Mo Gainz
Trainer
Mo received his B.S. degree in Exercise Science from Delta State University. He now prepares athletes for their present and forthcoming opportunites. For the past 6 years he has worked with professional, elite, and rising youth athletes of all levels and sports.
